How Enyaw Enterprises (PTY) LTD handles personal data · Last updated 3 October 2026

1. Who we are

Enyaw Enterprises (PTY) LTD, trading as Enyaw Aqua SCADA Systems ("we", "us"), is the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact us at wayneklaassen@gmail.com or 076 112 6708 about any privacy question.

2. Data we collect

Account and contact data: name, work email, phone number, organisation and role.

Operational data you submit: sample results, meter readings, logbook entries, incident reports, maintenance records, staff names acting as operators, and photos or documents you upload as evidence.

Technical data: device and browser information, IP address, and how the platform is used (pages viewed, actions taken).

Support and enquiry data: messages you send us, including through the book-a-demo form.

Payment data is collected and held by our payment provider, not by us.

3. Why we use it, and our legal basis

To create and administer your account and provide the platform — performance of a contract.

To keep records for compliance and audit, and to produce reports you have asked for — performance of a contract and legal obligation.

To detect trends, raise alarms and improve the platform — legitimate interests (running and improving a reliable service).

To respond to support requests and keep the service secure, including fraud prevention — legitimate interests and legal obligation.

To send product or service updates where you have asked for them — consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

4. Who we share it with

Service providers and sub-processors who host the platform, store backups, and provide analytics and support tooling, under written agreements.

Our Merchant of Record, Paddle, for sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.

Professional advisers such as legal and accounting advisers, under duties of confidentiality.

Public authorities, where we are required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Your own organisation: your municipality or plant sees the operational records submitted under its account.

5. International transfers

Some providers host data outside South Africa. Where personal data leaves South Africa, we use contractual safeguards so the level of protection is not materially lowered.

6. How long we keep it

We keep account and operational records for the life of your subscription, and afterwards for the period required to meet legal and audit obligations — typically up to seven years for financial and compliance records. When data is no longer needed, we delete it or make it unidentifiable.

7. Your rights

Under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act you may access the personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to processing, withdraw consent, and ask for a copy in a portable form.

You may also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa. Contact us first and we will try to resolve it — we respond within one month.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures: access controls, encrypted connections, and logging of administrative actions. No system is perfectly secure, so tell us immediately if you believe your account is compromised.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your language and municipality choice. Analytics cookies that help us see how the platform is used are only set with your agreement, and you can manage preferences through your browser.
